Two decades earlier who would have thought that electric cars would challenge the Internal combustion cars. BUT Tesla Motors had another plans. In the market dominated by the Petrol and diesel cars, in 2008 it one of the finest car of that time, the all electric “Roadster”. The Roadster was way ahead in terms of electric vehicles of that time. It challenged the internal combustion cars in terms of both efficiency and performance.
An electric motor which could drive a full passenger car from 0-97 kmph in less than 4 minutes, that too in time where electric vehicles were considered weaker in power and performance. The breakthrough the Roadster brought in the market was revolutionary. It created a new landmark which took the world’s automotive industry by a storm. Nobody even imagined at that time a electric vehicle can go the distance of 394 kilometers on a single charge. But the fantastic engineering of Tesla Motors made impossible looks like I’m possible.
After the roadster in 2008, Tesla motor took off to conquer the automotive world. Tesla motors had enough revenue from its “Roadster” project that it came up with another miracle with its first ever sedan in 2012 “Tesla Model S”. Tesla was then a name of a brand admired by the people all over the world. It then launched “Model X” in 2017 and “Model Y” in 2019. The naming has its another identity. I think the models are named in such a way that it would give a combined name “S3xy” which is kind of interesting, isn’t it? Tesla is not limited to sedans or SUVs. It is there to conquer each and every segment of automobile. After launching 3 of its car’s model it also announced a super-sports car, a successor to 2008 roadster “Roadster 2020”. This is the flagship concept of Tesla which is going to be available to public in 2020. This future-car has not spared a single aspect where it hasn’t excelled. Be it its acceleration, top speed or its range, roadster 2020 concept has it all. This car would be a beast in sports segment with acceleration from 0 to 97 kmph in 1.9 seconds which is quicker than any street legal production car to date at its announcement in November 2017.
Having top speed of 400 kilometers per hour and maximum range of around 1000 km in single charge, there is nothing to complain for the sports car lover. This car is challenging the hyper-sports cars in terms of efficiency and performance and its pretty much obvious that Tesla has that keen determination to take the electric cars to its full potential. I have analyzed that Tesla knows no limits. It just craves its way through the impossibility. When we think of heavy duty vehicles like truck or even semitruck, it is pretty hard to think of that as an electric vehicle. Like really, how electric motors could drive such a heavy automobile like a semi-truck and for a considerable distance? Then again tesla comes there making every eyebrow raised. With the 2020 roadster it also unveiled another concept, but this time this is not a car. Instead it’s a semi-truck named “Tesla Semi”. With the DNA of Tesla motors this concept has pushed the limit. An electric truck with maximum range of up to 800 kilometers and a considerable speed, it seems more practical than any internal combustion trucks. Internal combustion vehicles have changed the way of living of the mankind. But it was never good for the environment. With the use of nonrenewable fuel by Internal Combustion engines an alternative was there to seek and electric cars has always been in contention for that alternatives. But the high standard set by the fuel vehicles, it seemed pretty hard for electric vehicle to challenge that figures. But with Tesla and its products it seems like the future is now. With its highly improved and eco-friendly concept, Tesla has shown the future the future of automobile and it is the starter of the FUTURE.
